1971

The tool shop Ebmeyer was founded by Wolfgang Ebmeyer in Isselhorst. We started with 3 employees.

1975

The company moved to Gütersloh. At that time there were 6 employees including the first 2 trainees.

1986

We moved to the new building at the current premises, Berensweg 185, with around 1,200 m². The number of employees increased to 15, including 3 trainees.

1996

We received the DIN ISO 9001 quality management certification.

2003

Ebmeyer continued to grow. Production and office space were increased to cover 2,000 m². The first portal milling machine (X5,500 mm x Y2,750 mm) arrived. The number of employees increased to 50, including 7 trainees.

2005

Another extension of the company area increased to 3,300 m², the hydraulic press (10,000 kN) was installed. We now had 52 employees, including 9 trainees.

2006

Co-operation with Schmedthenke Werkzeugbau GmbH began.

2009

The next hydraulic press followed (20,000 kN)

2013

Installation of a gantry milling machine (X 6,000 mm x Y3,500 mm)

2018

Installation of a new hydraulic press (20,000 kN)

2021

ZumThe 50th anniversary, Modernisation of our image and Identity. Installation of the new spotting press with swivelling ram. 65 employees now work in Ebmeyer's team.
